What You Will Be Doing
- Provide technical support for ICT courses and capstone projects.
- Maintain, configure, and support lab/project hardware/software to ensure that they are in good working condition.
- Support faculties/ students in troubleshooting issues in physical/virtual lab environments.
- Assist faculties and capstone projects’ supervisors in sourcing and evaluation of new equipment/software.
- Liaise with third-party vendors.
Job Requirement
A University Degree in Computing/Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ICT or its equivalent.
- Preferably with 5 or more years of relevant experience, ideally in IT or higher education environment, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining physical/virtual lab environments.
- Familiar with Cisco, Linux and Open-Source Environment.
- Experience in container technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- CCNA/CCNP preferrable. Additional cloud certifications from AWS, Azure and Google will be advantageous.
- Experience with LMS and educational technology tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
