Opportunity to join a major leader in the energy and power sector as Market Analyst.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning, business development and asset management activities across APAC. You will monitor and assess market data within the energy and power sector, support on market analysis and competitor analysis of key markets to identify growth and investment opportunities. You will also provide research and analysis of the energy/renewable energy market, taking into consider macroeconomic factors and related regulatory policies to understand potential impacts to investments and provide recommendations on risk mitigation strategies.
In addition, you will oversee the preparation of strategic and external communication for APAC as well as presentation and conference materials and provide support on strategic marketing and communication efforts. You will also leverage on intelligence tool such as Power BI and Tableau to create dashboards and presentations for the senior management.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics or Economics with the following relevant experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a strategic planning, business strategy or market research role within the Energy and/or Power industry
- Strong excel skills and exposure to analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL or power market modelling.
- Ability to be hands-on, meticulous, collaborative and work well in a fast-paced environment.
