Sales Executive - Calibration Industry

Job Summary:

The Sales Executive in the Calibration Industry is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and promoting calibration services and products. This role requires a deep understanding of calibration processes, strong sales skills, and the ability to provide technical support and solutions to clients.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales and Business Development:

- Identify and target potential clients in need of calibration services and products.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.


2. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

- Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their calibration requirements.

- Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.


3. Product Knowledge and Demonstration:

- Develop a thorough understanding of the company's calibration services and products.

- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.

- Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding calibration processes and equipment.


4. Sales Reporting and Administration:

- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.


5. Negotiation and Contract Management:

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close sales deals.

- Ensure all contracts are accurately completed and comply with company policies.

- Follow up on contracts and agreements to ensure timely delivery of services and products.


6. Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

- Coordinate with the technical and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met.

- Conduct client satisfaction surveys and implement feedback to improve services.


7. Training and Development:

- Stay updated with industry developments and new calibration technologies.

- Attend training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance sales and technical skills.

- Share knowledge and best practices with the sales team to improve overall performance.


Qualifications:


- Education:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.


- Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the calibration industry or a related technical field.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.


- Skills:

- Strong understanding of calibration processes and equipment.

- Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.


Physical Requirements:

- Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.

- Ability to lift and carry product samples and demonstration equipment.


Work Environment:

- Office setting with regular visits to client sites and industry events.

- Interaction with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders.

- Fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting sales targets and deadlines.
