Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS).
- Create and manage database structures, including tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the database, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
- Implement and manage database security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Design and implement data integration solutions to support business processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a related role.
- Experience with one or more database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, and security practices.
- Knowledge of database design and data modeling principles.
- Familiarity with database performance tuning and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and network infrastructure.
