The Manager, Data Management is a pivotal role within the Data Strategy & Data Analytics Division, dedicated to enhancing our organization's data capabilities. This position is instrumental in ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and compliance of our data assets, aligning with our mission to leverage data for strategic insights and decision-making. - Data Governance and Standards Development
- Creation and maintenance of a comprehensive metadata catalogue.
- Develop and implement data standards across data sources to facilitate data collaboration and analysis.
- Assist in the development and communication of data governance policies to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our organizational values of integrity and accountability.
- Data Quality and Harmonization
- Assist in the harmonization of data fields across the systems, ensuring high-quality data that meets business and analytic needs.
- Contribute to the management of data sharing arrangements, ensuring compliance with Government standards and policies, reflecting our commitment to data privacy and security.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of data analytics events, including Data Bootcamp and Artificial Intelligence engagement sessions, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to facilitate understanding and adherence to data management practices, enhancing our collaborative efforts towards achieving organizational goals.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role within a data-centric organization.
- Familiarity with government data standards and policies is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data management frameworks and processes.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating our core value of unity and collective effort.
