Responsibility:
· Use sales data, inventory information, market trends, customer forecast, to develop a rolling demand plan, avoid overstock and out of stock
· Conduct S&OP meeting to ensure validate forecast.
· Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
· Prepare reports on purchase, customer usages, inventory holding days (Inventory days of supply), and cost analytics
· Maintain supply to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands
· Negotiate contract/price and issue PO in ERP system (Microsoft Dynamic)
· Work for indent order and make spot purchase, obtain spot offer when necessary
· Work with account term to review on budget
· Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarder to arrange incoming shipment.
· book SFA (Singapore Food Agency) inspection for incoming, comply with SFA regulation
· Coordinate with inventory and QA/QC for incoming shipments
· Ensure products are received on time and in the quality also at the cost agreed upon with the supplier
· If any quality issue, feedback to supplier, claim from supplier
· Complete purchase receiving excel list to post warehouse receipt in ERP.
· Replenish resources, including packaging materials, labels, gloves, etc.
· Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with market trends
· Ad-hoc duty assigned
Requirement:
- At least 2 years in procurement, demand planning or shipping function
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with at least 1 ERP system.
- Data-driven mindset
- understand of Japanese cuture and able speak with Japanese custome add advantage.
