Our client, a leading manufacturer of wireless devices and consumer electronics, is seeking a visionary Lead Software Architect to drive innovation and excellence in their R&D team. As a key player in the manufacturing industry, our client is committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of their customers. To achieve this, they need a skilled software leader who can spearhead the development of cutting-edge software solutions that integrate seamlessly with their hardware products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical evaluations and architecture design for complex projects
Develop and propose technical solutions for customers and team members
Support new platform development and manage 3rd party sub-contractors
Drive innovation through new technology studies and R&D initiatives
Collaborate with Business Development on new project RFQ activities and provide technical feasibility assessments.
Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics
At least 6 years of prior technical experience, with prior supervisory experience being an added advantage
Extensive software programming experience in Android/Linux/RTOS and knowledge of network, AI, audio/visual DSP, MMI, and cloud-based technologies
Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Experience with various software development life cycles and development processes
Ability to propose software architecture with a strong understanding of embedded hardware knowledge
Curiosity and passion for innovation and mentorship.
