Core Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with potential and current customers to generate and qualify leads, promote the company’s products and services, identify and propose solutions that meet customer needs, and secure new business.
- Research and qualify new business opportunities specifically for medical diagnostics equipment, medical hardware, or drug delivery devices. This includes using LinkedIn, marketing databases, and traditional referrals to make connections, perform research, and build relationships.
- Drive awareness of our product portfolio through digital presence and traditional customer site visits.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and project schedules.
- Achieve sales and profit targets.
- Perform duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years of sales experience with a demonstrated success in technical sales, specifically in the APAC region, including South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
- At least three years of sales experience specifically in medical diagnostics equipment, medical hardware, or drug delivery devices.
- Proven ability to develop new markets through effective sales planning to grow the business.
- Fluency in English and Korean, with the ability to understand and respond to written and verbal instructions and inquiries from customers.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the features and benefits of medical devices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the products being sold, including their functions, applications, and competitive landscape.
- Impeccable integrity and superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and engage personnel at all organizational levels. Emotionally intelligent with a sense of urgency to drive results and challenge the status quo.
- Strong PC aptitude in a Windows environment, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Ability to learn other software packages and stay informed about technological advancements.
- Experience in metalworking industries preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend conferences, and participate in industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications in sales or medical device sales would be an asset.
