Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of electric motors. Perform AC slip ring rotor rewinding and AC high voltage stator rewinding (Form coil).
- Quality Control: Ensure all overhaul activities comply with established quality standards and safety regulations.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage schedules for motor overhaul projects, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, addressing any complex issues that arise during the overhaul process. Competent in carrying out rewinding jobs for AC and DC motors.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the procurement and use of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for over projects.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all overhaul activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and quality assurance documentation. Ensure timely submission of service reports to customers.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for technicians on best practices for motor overhaul and maintenance.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate with superiors and clients to provide updates on job progress and address any concerns or requirements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in motor maintenance and overhaul.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in motor overhaul and repair are advantageous.
- Preferably with a valid class-3 driving license.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
