The Student Service Executive is responsible for providing comprehensive support and guidance to adult learners. This role focuses on enhancing the overall student experience, from enrolment through graduation, by addressing the unique needs of adult students. The executive will work closely with other departments to ensure that services are accessible, effective, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of adult learners.
Key responsibilities
1. Student Support
- Conduct orientation sessions for new students and ensure smooth onboarding for students.
- Facilitate access to various student support services to adult students, including but not limited to personalized academic and job placement support.
- Monitor student attendance and learning progression.
- Ensure timely submission of student data to respective system(s) as required.
- Maintain accurate student records and provide reports as and when it is required.
- Address student queries and concerns promptly, conduct interviews when required.
- Collect and address student survey and feedback, ensure timely resolution and maintenance of such records.
- Organize student activities and events.
2. Resource Management
- Monitor and support student well-being.
- Provide resources and referrals for additional or external support as needed.
3. Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Implement changes to enhance student experiences.
- Prepare reports on the progress and outcomes of adult student services and programmes.
- Collect data to identify areas for improvement.
4. Communication and Outreach
- Maintain effective communication with students, staff and stakeholders
- Promote institute’s programs and services
5. Adhoc projects
- Assist the Senior Manager/Manager in project deliverables and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least a diploma qualification in any area of study;
- Experience in student and career consultation services, event planning and coordination, preferably in healthcare sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse candidates and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good in administration and reporting function.
