General Job Description:
The MICE Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing meetings, conferences, incentives, and events for corporate clients as well as driving sales growth and business development. This position plays a key role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of MICE projects, focusing on client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in the planning and organization of meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and other corporate events.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as essential point of contact for corporate clients, understanding their event objectives and requirements
- Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for MICE services. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with company’s Teams to cross-sell and upsell services
- Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary resources and ensure smooth event operations
- Event Execution and On-Site Management: Coordinate on-site event execution, including setup, registration, attendee management, and troubleshooting
- Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting: Prepare event reports, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
Education, Experience,
and Requirements :
- Minimum of Diploma certificate in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field required; additional certifications in event management or higher educational certificates are advantageous.
- Proven experience in event planning with at least 1 to 3 years experience, , preferably in MICE, with a focus on corporate clients and large-scale events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Office environment with frequent travel to event sites.
- Irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
