Job Description


Policy and Practices

1. Aligns HR policies and procedures with Group policies and guidelines and complies with statutory regulations (e.g. Employment Act, CPF Act, IRAS)

Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

1. Creates and maintains Executive’s information in HR system

2. Maintains supporting Executive payroll documentations and authorisations for internal and external audits

5. Oversees the administration of staff benefits like medical, hospitalisation, dental, workmen compensation, staff insurance, staff uniform and safety boots, etc

6. Administers leave management system for Executives and above

Manpower Review and Planning

7. Facilitates manpower planning and budgeting exercise

8. Ensures actual headcount figures do not exceed the budgeted headcount figures

Performance Management & Reward System

9. Administers the annual Staff Performance Appraisal, Annual Increment and Variable Bonus pay-out exercise for Executives and above

Industrial Relations Management

10. Assists in Collective Agreement negotiations

11. Handles staff grievances and complaints

12. Handles staff disciplinary issues and serves as the Secretary in the Board of Inquiry (BOI) where necessary

Others

13. Prepares C&B statistics reports, including disciplinary cases records, medical leave report, etc for management review and participates in MOM surveys and questionnaires etc

14. Manages ad-hoc duties in staff communication

15. Manages HR Process Improvement Projects or assignments


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education with bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related area.
  • Minimum 7 years of Human Resource Management Experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with SuccessFactor will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations
  • Ability to apply HR strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
  • Experience with analysing data to guide strategic employment planning
