Regional L&D and Talent Manager

Position Summary

Responsible for developing and delivering leadership learning and talent solutions that improve the culture, productivity and engagement of the organization. This position assesses developmental needs to drive training initiatives, actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate employees and advance their skills and knowledge. This position is responsible for increasing the visibility and movement of ADMs internal talent in the region, to understand the critical roles and succession pools for those roles, understand and increase the diversity of our talent, and developing internal leaders through meaningful career paths.

This position partners with the regional HR team members and senior executives to implement the global talent and learning strategies. This position reports to the Regional Director of Learning & Development with a dotted line to the Director, Global Talent.


Your Responsibilities

  • Implement the global learning and talent strategies regionally
  • Design, development and delivery of learning and talent experiences on a global scale, including overall project management, budgeting and vendor management where appropriate
  • Facilitate leadership and soft skills courses, encompasses 50% of the colleagues’ time
  • Manage LinkedIn Learning, our self-paced learning platform with a focus on increase the active learner number globally through different initiatives
  • Consult with business leaders, HR business partners, and regional leadership teams to:
  • identify learning and development needs
  • identify talent, discuss succession pipeline for critical roles, assess talent, create and monitor impactful development plans for the identified talent
  • Support with reporting for the Regional Director of Learning & Development for the regional leadership updates
  • Design (in partnership with the instructional designer) and deliver learning and talent development programs and projects across all levels of the organization to increase leadership effectiveness and support succession planning
  • Manage the regional learning initiatives with a focus on increasing the utilization and engage the contributing internal trainers
  • Develop organizational communications to ensure colleagues have knowledge of learning and talent development events and resources
  • Evaluate effectiveness of the learning and talent development programs to understand impact, reach, alignment with organizational needs and drive continuous improvement
  • Research and review industry data to keep ahead of emerging strategies and trends in learning and talent development, and to continually improve the approach to designing and delivering learning and talent experiences

Your Profile

  • Fluent in English, Mandarin a plus;
  • Super comfortable in facilitating leadership trainings in English
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a global talent or learning team
  • Extensive training facilitation experiences for all levels of an organization
  • Intellectually curious and resourceful;
  • Pro-active and walks the extra mile;
  • Ability to be hands-on while also thinking strategically;
  • Global mindset and strong in building credible internal as well as external relationships;
  • Proven knowledge of adult learning theory, development methods and modalities;
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives;
  • Ability to design, develop and lead enterprise-wide talent & learning and development programs;
  • Experience in project management is essential;
  • Multicultural experience working within a complex international matrix organization is desirable;
  • DDI Facilitator Certification is a plus;
  • Demonstrated capacity to handle several projects simultaneously;
  • Well-developed personal skills: assertive, organized, team player, problem solver;
  • Ability to travel 30%.
