Job Scope:
Technical Support:
- Providing helpdesk support and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Installing, configuring, and updating software and hardware.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Performing regular maintenance to ensure systems are running efficiently.
- Monitoring network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Managing backups of data and disaster recovery operations.
User Support and Training:
- Assisting users with the setup of accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Offering training sessions to help users understand how to use new software or systems.
- Providing guidance and best practices for using IT resources effectively.
System Administration:
- Managing user accounts and permissions.
- Ensuring the security of the network and data through proper access control, firewall management, and antivirus solutions.
- Keeping an inventory of hardware and software, ensuring licensing compliance.
Project Support:
- Assisting in the rollout of new applications or upgrades.
- Participating in IT projects to improve or expand IT infrastructure.
- Documenting changes and updates to systems and procedures.
Customer Service:
- Responding to service issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Communicating with users to keep them informed about the status of their issues and the progress of ongoing IT projects.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnosing complex problems by researching, analyzing, and identifying root causes.
- Providing solutions that minimize downtime and prevent future issues.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Working closely with other IT professionals and departments to resolve issues.
- Coordinating with vendors and suppliers for hardware and software procurement and support.
- Collaborating with management to align IT services with organizational goals.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Computer / IT studies (Alternatively candidate with solid work experience can be considered)
- At least 1 year of relevant IT support experience
