The Marketing team for "Pay-TV" in South East Asia (SEA) is based in Singapore and owns the responsibility of driving customer growth and engagement, through a broad combination of marketing channels across SEA territories. They are growing rapidly and they’re looking for a future leader to join us.
They are looking for a smart, customer-obsessed and analytical Marketing Manager to help grow our global digital video business and create innovative and engaging customer experiences across our online storefront and outbound marketing channels. Whether it is supporting new title launches and other engagement campaigns, or lifecycle marketing journeys spanning on-boarding, engagement, retention, upsell/cross-sell, and win-backs, you will be working with partner teams inside the company to deliver a great experience to our customers.
You will have shown that you can work autonomously and be as comfortable handling details as you are thinking big. You will have demonstrable expertise in driving data-driven direct marketing strategy as well as campaign execution, end-to-end including writing copy and directing creative assets. You will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity as we test our way into new content types and business lines. You will have shown you’re able to work in a dynamic environment and can deliver results at pace. Through strategic thinking, strong data driven customer insight, creative thinking and operational excellence, you’ll flawlessly execute a comprehensive marketing plan that increases customer engagement in the long-term.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the outbound marketing channel (email & push notifications) for SEA countries: create campaigns from the scratch, manage targeting and segmentation, messaging, creative, content and design, planning, localization, build, execution and reporting
- Engage with the engagement automation team to create and execute an email and push marketing plan to drive engagement and design plans to support initiatives in an automated and scalable way
- Partner with various partner teams to increase awareness of the Prime benefits supported by a continuous, meticulously planned and documented testing plan
- Hold a high bar for when manual emails are required
- Ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standard
- Write up proposals, testing/experimentation roadmaps and campaign reviews, and also contribute to business reviews
- Drive deep dive analysis working with BI to understand campaign performance and segmentation opportunities
- Work closely with other marketing channels and peers within the region and globally across Amazon to ensure key launches and partnerships are supported
Basic qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in roles requiring strategic planning and execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns and email marketing
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Project management skills
Preferred qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements
- Background in marketing a global offering with a targeted localized approach
- Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Comfortable operating with considerable autonomy and possess decision making skills when faced with ambiguity
- Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to online customers
- Ability to analyze data quantitatively and use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Understanding and use of web metrics to measure performance
- XML/HTML skills: no need to hand-code, but you can troubleshoot
- Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools. Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
Working hours: 9am to 6pm
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite; 2 days WFH
