Job description :
Position is responsible for providing technical support to end-users, managing network resources, administering servers, ensuring the availability and performance of essential applications. Also responsible for providing infrastructure support to company staff, addressing IT-related issues and implementing solutions to enhance the overall IT environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Provide technical support for company-wide software applications and hardware to end-users.
- Assist end-users with software vendors to resolve complex applications-related issues.
- Manage and maintain servers, perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, backups and security patches.
- Monitor server performance and respond to server-related incidents promptly.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on IT best practices, security protocols and software usage.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides and user manuals.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard the company’s IT assets and data.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software and support services.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
- Provide after office hour support when necessary.
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering ( or related field )
Skills / Knowledge / Experience Required
- Proven experience in IT support, network management and server administration.
- Strong problem solving skills, communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of IT best practices, security protocols and industry standards.
- Good understanding of Windows, Office365 and networking protocols.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
