Job Responsibilities:
1) Perform on-site repair for all gas detection equipment issues and maintenance works.
2) Ensures operation of system and gas detection system by performing preventive maintenance requirements.
3) Identifying the root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
4) Minimizes and controls downtime by improving routine preventive maintenance techniques.
5) Required to participate in the on-duty roster by holding emergency phones and response within 2 hours onsite.
6) Maintains a safe and clean working environment according to company regulations
7) Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Immediate supervisor or managers.
8) Commissioning and decommissioning gas detection system.
9) Willing to work in irregular shifts and overtime work.
10) Willing to onstandby duties and be emergency responder to clients.
Qualifications / Requirements
1) Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in relevant electronics, electrical
2) Familiarity with Marine/Oil & Gas/Petrochemical rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards preferred.
3) Proficient in Microsoft office.
4) Preferred candidates who resident in Singapore.
5) Possess effective communication skills, and proficiency in English.
6) Able to work in a team or independently.
5.5 days a week, a minimum of 8 hours per day on weekdays (Able to commit overtime, as and when required)
