Established in 2019, Serenity Resources Pte Ltd is a leading commodity trading firm headquartered in Singapore. Specializing in trading oil products andchemical products, the company also engages in derivative products, hedging transactions, risk management, and supply chain financing. In September 2023, the company secured approval to join the rigorous Global Trader Program under EnterpriseSingapore.
We are looking for ambitious and energetic trading analyst individuals to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Analysis and Research:
· Stay closely informed about market trends and conditions.
· Prepare analysis and in-depth research on the oil trading and shipping industry.
Data Management:
· Collect, organize, and maintain comprehensive datasets related to oil trading and shipping.
Collaboration:
· Collaborate with traders in regular strategy meetings.
· Formulate market views and trading ideas based on market supply-demand data analysis and other key metrics.
Future Opportunities:
· Explore, identify, and lead opportunities for trade or asset acquisitions in the oil trading and shipping industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational and Qualification:
· 1-3 years of trading analyst experience in oil trading or shipping.
· Diploma/Degree in Maritime, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply if they can demonstrate knowledge in commodity trading or the shipping industry.
Skills and Competencies:
· Fast learner and quick thinker with the ability to work independently and resourcefully.
· Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with overseas clients.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
· Strong interest in the oil trading or shipping industry.
· Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude.
