QS cum Procurement Executive

Responsibilities:

QS:

• Pre-projects:

1. Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour.
2. Prepare tender and contract documents for the submission of quotations to clients.
3. Prepare cost analysis for the project in order to ensure overall value is enhanced.
4. Check quantity, specification and details before procurement of materials.
5. Coordinate with production manager for the glass specifications.
6. Coordinate with colleagues on the booking of delivery to upcoming project sites.

• On-going projects:

1. Coordinate with project manager for order requirement & site fulfilment.
2. Arrangement of delivery with colleagues to site.
3. Answer to any issues that arises from the delivery. ⁠

• After the project;

1. Prepare Variation Orders, Claims, Final Accounts, Settlement, and Sub-contractor
2. Preparation of Monthly progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors.
3. Analyse outcomes and provide budget/progress reports.

Procurement:

• Responsible for Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistic and Inventory Management. (Supply-chain management)
• Ensure all items purchased and received according to specifications & compliance with standards.
• Perform full logistic process including all shipping documentation. (3PL, Mainly Import; Export only when needed)
• Closely liaise with various suppliers on delivery promptness and commitment.
• Manage all purchase requisition, purchase orders, delivery orders and invoices.
• Manage company’s vendor such as IT, Maintenances/Repair/Operating Contract and etc.
• Manage contracts such as purchasing, certificates, renewal inspection and etc.
• Answering to suppliers, vendors and internal enquiries.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma level with at least 2 years of related working experience
• Preferred applicant with Construction related field
• Full process QS related experiences preferred, willingness & keen to learn Procurement process
• Comfortable to work with warehouse/inventory department personnel; which is non-aircon environment
• Possess good communication skills (both written and oral), interpersonal skills,
• Possess positive working attitude
• Must be self-motivated, resourceful and possess a pleasant disposition
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, Able to work independently
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal & external personnel
• Able to handle various platform for sourcing & purchasing selection
• Ability to start work with short notice preferred
• Applicants must be willing to work in Changi.
• Monday to Friday, Monthly 1 Working Saturday (Halfday)
