Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create and execute the sales target and action plans along SL department policy.
- Achieve SL sales budget of MCS.
- Implement prompt and appropriate pricing responses for each customer, considering market prices, in order to achieve business continuity.
- Improve the accuracy of sales projections to optimize inventory levels, thereby leading to streamlined working capital.
- Control and monitor the credit limit for own accounts.
- Act as a liaison to SL department of Japan HQ in MCS.
- Follow up given customers – especially Japanese VIP customers mainly for food packaging product lines.
- Work with HQ sales team to expand the business with global Japanese customers who have locations in SEA region.
- Report and communicate with supervisors and Japan HQ. Possess strong understanding on the internal workflow and communication channel of Japan HQ in order to takeover existing customer and build up of new customer network within short period of time.
- Facilitate the monthly meeting to report the performance to SL department of Japan HQ.
- Closer communication with SL department of Japan HQ to minimize opportunity’s loss.
- Plan and execute marketing strategy aligned with Japan HQ department policy.
- Extend the sales network by utilizing trading companies.
- Maintain and enhance the relationship with the customers to contribute the vertical start-up of the new capacity.
- Support to create the sales budget.
- To plan and manage the purchase of stock sales in Singapore.
- To be able to keep healthy stock level and optimize the stock sales in Singapore.
- Train local staff on product knowledge, sales and marketing in the packaging industry and many other experiences gained to date.Support to MCS operation and company event.
- Other duties as and when assigned by the Senior Manager and/or top management.
Requirement
- Bachelor/ Master degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the company’s products.
- Experience or knowledge in handling the product of EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl Co Polymer).
- Familiar and well versed in Japanese Corporate way of working as this position will work closely with main Business Unit in Japan HQ for implementing strategies in selling the products to Global Japanese Customers.
- Fluent Japanese skill (to communicate with Japan HQ and Japanese customers).
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, often with several years of progressive responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and implementing effective marketing strategies.
- Leadership experience, especially in managing and motivating sales teams.
- Able to perform Strategic planning, Market analysis, Strong communication skill, Team management, and keeping good customer relationship.
- Able to understand market trends.
- Have product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance.
