Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
- Daily Operations: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring all processes are efficient and compliant with company policies. Manage inventory control, storage, and distribution, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- KPI Management: Maintain and prepare regular monthly KPIs of warehouses (third party warehouse). Monitor performance metrics and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes in the warehouse. Report discrepancies and significant issues to the supervisor promptly.
Logistics Management:
- Coordination and Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams including Logistics, Operations, GCS, and Procurement, as well as external parties (third party logistics) and clients, to manage shipping and delivery issues. Ensure smooth communication and collaboration for logistical matters.
- Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve logistics processes. Implement best practices and innovative solutions in logistics management.
- Shipping and Delivery: Oversee the planning and execution of shipping schedules. Manage logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required. Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes in the warehouse. Report discrepancies and significant issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Suppliers Sourcing & Management:
- Sourcing: Lead and implement sourcing strategies and supplier initiatives for warehouse logistics
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
Procurement Process Management:
- Handle RFQ/RFP processes and tender management.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery and payment.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Contract Management:
- Collaborate with legal and internal teams to negotiate contract terms with vendors.
- Independently review the contract procurement process, including SOPs for check-and-balance mechanisms and key procurement packages.
Skills Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience, in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in the APAC region.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese counterparties. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus to liaise with Japanese counterparties.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills, good organizational skills, proactive analytical and negotiation skills.
- Regional Support: This role will be supporting the APAC region, demonstrating flexibility and cultural awareness.
