Responsibilties:
- Acquire new sales leads / prospects and establish new accounts to grow account / client base focused on events including but not limited to: weddings, social events, corporate meetings or banquet events (residential / non-residential included)
- Foster and develop relationship with existing clients and customers to maintain loyalty.
- Manage leads and enquiries and provide suitable solutions promptly.
- Be familiar and diligent with various company systems and sales tools, such as property management system, customer relationship management system, function space booking
- Work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure that we deliver the best to our guests
- Proactive update to event bookings and changes via Banquet Event Orders (BEO), attending BEO meetings etc
- Day-to-day sales activities include telemarketing, sales calls, hotel visits, entertainment, virtual presentations etc.
- Review account portfolio regularly and present to management to provide analysis on performance of each account and forward action plans.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with strong network
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge in banquet spaces, facilities and capabilities of the competitive market
