Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Management:
▪ Prepare cost estimates and budgets for the projects.
▪ Monitor and control projects cost to ensure they stay within budget
▪ Evaluate and advise on financial variations and change orders
2. Tendering:
▪ Assist in the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents
▪ Negotiate and finalize contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
3. Quality Control:
▪Collaborate with the project team to ensure construction quality meet the specified standards
▪ Identify and address any cost-related quality issues.
4. Progress Monitoring:
▪ Regularly update project cost reports and provide detailed cost information
▪ Monitor project progress to identify potential cost deviations and recommend corrective actions
5. Risk Management:
▪ Identify and assess potential risk related to cost and advise on mitigation strategies.
▪ Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
6. Communication:
▪ Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including the client, contractors, and the design team
7. Documentation:
▪Maintain accurate records of all project-related cost data and documentation for Top / CSC
Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or related field
▪ Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in LTA projects
▪ Knowledge of construction cost estimation and budgeting.
▪ Familiarity with residential construction contracts and legal regulations
▪ Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
▪ Proficiency in relevant software
Additional Requirements:
▪ Professional certification is a plus
▪ Ability to work on site
