Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage project construction activities and progress independently
- Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure that they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the prescribed standards.
- Communicates effectively with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to identify needs and evaluate alternative Project solutions.
- Attend meetings as required to ensure the compliance with the overall project standards, procedures requirements and resolved issued.
- Assist in selection of quality subcontractors, suppliers and vendors in the negotiation of their terms and conditions of engagement with the Procurement team.
- Prepare progress report and work schedule
- Regularly inspect the site progress and provide guidance to the project and construction management teams on best practices and efficiencies on scheduling and processes.
- Review and endorse subcontract documents, progress & variation works claims to customers.
- Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on sire
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience at managerial level in the Civil / Building/ Construction Industry.
- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and effectively communicate with others.
- Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills.
- Excellence in verbal and oral communication skills.
