Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Description & Requirements
· Reports to the Contract Manager
· Quantity Surveyor will report to Senior Quantity Surveyor
· Take off quantities and prepare costing and budget for tenders and awarded projects
· Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects and developers.
· Source for sub-contractors and suppliers and negotiate the best possible price for the company
· Certification of claims for subcontractors and suppliers for progress payment and finalization of accounts.
· Prepare and analyze cost comparison
· Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
· Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
· Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
· All other QS related jobs
Requirements
· Degree/Diploma in Building Construction, Quantity Survey or its equivalent
· At least 5 years’ related working experience in Architectural Works/ similiar fields.
· Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
· Must be able to travel to Jurong Island for work
· Transport will be provided at designated pick up point
· Alternate half day Saturdays
· No work pass will be issued / No quota
