- Field Service Engineer has possessed 3-5 years’ experience in IT hardware maintenance service on server, network and storage preventive.
- Provide post-sales maintenance support on servers/storage (IBM/HP/DELL/SUN) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) at customer locations;
- Troubleshooting and replacement of hardware;
- Troubleshooting of operating system;
Required experience/skills:
- Experience with Windows, Dell, IBM and HP.
- Manage systems like standalone servers, blade systems, storage and network equipment from Dell (PowerEdge systems, PowerVault and EqualLogic storages), HP (HPUX integrity systems and Proliant systems), Cisco (UCS standalone and blade systems) and IBM (xSeries systems);
- IT systems infrastructure hardware and software maintenance and repair, systems deployment and integration on a broad spectrum of Enterprise IT equipment.
- From servers (such as HP and IBM Servers running various versions of Windows Servers and Linux, Unix and Sun Oracle Solaris), to network equipment (Alcatel, HP Switches, Cisco Systems Managed Network Routers and Switches and Cisco Systems PIX and McAfee firewall maintenance), to HP and IBM tape libraries, EMC SAN storage as well as Laptops, PCs and Business Laser Printers and Multi-Functional Copiers from various vendors.
- Provide post-sales maintenance support on servers/storage (IBM/HP/DELL/SUN) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) at customer locations.
- Strong server and storage hardware configuration knowledge will be an advantage.
