Responsibilities
- Leading the project-based test team, providing hands on Test Execution activities and enabling it to deliver the highest level of quality across our testing services and practices.
- Collaborating in defining and maintaining the Test Policy and Test Plan.
- Manage customer relationship with appropriate communication and coordinate testing activities with customer Test Manager.
- Work closely with project manager, development teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and issues.
- Provide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing.
- Report progress to management and clients.
- Manage defects.
- Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness).
- Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting.
- Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures.
- Lead test automation & leverage test automation in order to optimize the manual test effort/coverage vs automated test effort/coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Banking, Finance, Business or Economics.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience within the banking/Financial industry especially in Testing function.
- Previous Test management experience including leadership experience.
- Knowledge of both automated and manual testing.
- Strong result orientation and stress resistance.
- Flexibility and openness for changes.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with an ability to inspire others.
- Experience with Avaloq Banking System.
Good to Have
- Test Automation Experience using test master, ATS & etc.
- Proficient in Testing Concepts, led a test team before and able to perform client facing discussion.
- Experience working within a matrix-style structure.
- ISTQB® (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification.
- Proven experience hiring, training and mentoring other senior team members to build a strong team around them.
