Company Overview:
We are currently exclusively partnering with a prominent regional contractor, specializing in large-scale infrastructure and marine construction projects across APAC. They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director to lead operations in Southeast Asia (SEA) with a strong background in marine construction.
Position Overview:
The Regional Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing our marine construction projects across Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in marine construction and demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with company objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams across the SEA region.
Drive business growth and development initiatives in marine construction.
- Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of marine construction projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Monitor project progress, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
Address and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts proactively.
- Financial Management:Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Ensure effective resource allocation and cost control.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Quality & Safety:Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Team Development:Mentor and develop project managers and team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Promote continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI) is preferred.
- Experience:Minimum of 15 years of experience in marine construction, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale marine construction projects across multiple countries.
Strong understanding of marine construction methodologies, project management principles, and industry best practices.
- Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Proficient in project management software and tools
