Job Title: Preschool Principal / Centre Leader
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Kent Ridge / Jurong West
Salary: $5,000 - $6,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)
Responsibilities:
• Provide visionary leadership to the centre, setting and maintaining high standards of early childhood education.
• Devlop, implement, and review policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Singapore's early childhood education regulations and standards.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the center, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as enrollment, records management, and communication with parents/guardians.
• Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff and support personnel, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate continuous improvement among staff members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of teaching methodologies, making adjustments as necessary to enhance learning outcomes.
• Cultivate positive relationships with parents/guardians, encouraging their active involvement in their children's education and the center's activities.
Requirements:
• Must possess the DECCE- T & Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Centre Leadership (ADECL)
• Degree in Early Childhood Education will be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of principal experience and managing a childcare/preschool
• A team leader as well as a team player
