Job Summary
We are seeking an experience Site Reliability Engineer for our client to drive continuous improvements in their processes and systems using Site Reliability Engineering methods.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Diploma /Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- At least 10 years of experience in driving major production incidents and organizing incident retrospective meetings;
- Proficiency with Cloud Foundry, Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), and Unix/Linux systems;
- Experience with high availability, high-scale, and high-performance systems;
- Self-motivated with strong leadership and team-building capabilities;
- Experience in stakeholder management;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience with Python, and Core Java 8;
- Prior work experience in banking channel domain.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and training to engineers on technology solutions and advanced reliability techniques for various situations;
- Manage high-severity and high-customer-impact incidents with a focus on rapid recovery;
- Champion production resilience and availability by collaborating with the operations and technology development teams to ensure a superior client experience;
- Drive the implementation of SRE and Chaos Engineering designs for all strategic systems;
- Facilitate effective communication between business and technology regarding production service reliability and performance;
- Continuously improve processes and systems by leveraging Site Reliability Engineering methods;
- Respond to, evaluate, and analyze production incidents to minimize impact and devise innovative solutions to prevent future occurrences;
- Enhance the reliability and availability of systems by gathering data and designing systems for improved service reliability and performance.
