- Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation Semiconductor company to search for a Mechanical Test Technician
- Focus: Performing Mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.
- Office location: Singapore
- Working hours: 5 days’ work (Monday-Friday) 8am-5:30pm
- This role starts off as a contract position
The Talent
- Graduated in Mechanical /Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Min Preferably 1 year experience in closely related role
- Analytical skills and diagnose to find the root cause and apply corrective actions
- Knowledge on SSD will be beneficial
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Responsible for performing Mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Perform debug and evaluation towards resolution of issues with Firmware engineers.
Physical tasks (Mechanical):
- Dismantling of parts from the assemblies and pack to send to external vendor for cleaning
- Perform assemblies cleaning in chemical hood
- Cleaning of metal parts using chemical (10/90 IPA) and DI waterAssemblies rebuild
- Testing for rebuild parts through Helium leak test and Testing station (valves)
- Perform daily PM on working areas and dispose of scrapped parts and solvent waste
- Pack rebuild parts and print out labels before MatReturn or return to end user
- Check inventory, update Engineer if need to restock
Administrative tasks:
- Update daily activities in tracking system (share point)
- Create and updating parts information in parts tracking system
- Prepare shipping document
- Housekeeping of working area always
