Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems in compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Create detailed mechanical designs and blueprints by using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into building designs.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets for mechanical systems installation.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor the installation of mechanical systems and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to verify performance and operational functionality.
- Ensure liaison with relevant teams and other stakeholders to stay updated on the on-going maintenance activities.
- Ensure technical, environmental and safety aspects in all matters are assessed in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction sector, with a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.
