What are we looking for?
ADPS has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Warehouse Specialist to work with one of the Biopharmaceutical clients in Singapore. Ideal candidate to join our client engineering team to drive the warehouse operations. Also, coordinate, support and execute all warehouse operation which meet the business requirements.
This position will be expected to work in our client’s site across Singapore Island.
Job Scope:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal stock levels of MRO items to ensure no disruption in operations.
- Conduct periodic cycle count to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Assign Bin no. and restocking as per CMMS information.
- Spare parts issue & return from/to Engineering warehouse.
Receiving and Shipping:
- Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely shipping of materials to internal departments or external customers.
- Organize Certificate of Compliance.
Supplier Coordination:
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of MRO items.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and delivery terms.
- Handle discrepancies with suppliers, such as incorrect orders or damaged goods.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends for management review.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure the warehouse operates in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Manage hazardous materials in compliance with relevant safety standards.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work with other departments to streamline the flow of materials and information.
Equipment Management:
- Ensure that all warehouse equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working order.
- Coordinate, repairs and maintenance of Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).
Any tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- A diploma in engineering discipline.
- Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical/ biological/ chemical/ oil & gas industries.
Skills:
- Comfortable working in a team and matrix environments; high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Keen in driving and adopting new technologies.
- Knowledge of CMMS and proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word,).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and a "hands-on" attitude.
- Class 3 Forklift driving license.
- cGMP experience is a plus.
