Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Voice Engineering Resource Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in NICE (NICE Systems), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), and IPC communication systems.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our voice communication systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
This position will be responsible for deploying, routing and maintaining a regional Voice Systems and providing support with CUCM, IPC and NICE recording to proactively address network issues that impact services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of voice communication systems, including NICE, CUCM, and IP telephony. - Develop and document detailed technical designs and configurations for voice network solutions. –
- Administer and maintain NICE, CUCM, and IP telephony systems. - Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for voice communication systems. - Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to NICE, CUCM, and IP telephony. - Collaborate with network and IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. - Conduct regular system audits and implement best practices for voice communication systems.
- Develop and deliver training programs for IT staff and end-users on voice communication systems. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. –
- Lead or participate in voice communication projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business requirements. - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Communicate and liaise with all company departments; notify appropriate parties immediately of any issues which may affect efficient operations including, but not limited to, outages, service disruptions, and network bottlenecks.
- Leverage automation skills and take a "DevOps" approach to improve efficiency of solving complex network infrastructure issues, network management.
- Demonstrate a high level of energy, results driven and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Qualifications:
- Min 8 years’ experience in CUCM, IPC and NICE implementation and support role for a IP network
- Experience in design and implementation of Voice systems
- Experience in NICE Systems, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), ,IP telephony, VoIP protocols and technologies (SIP, H.323, MGCP).
- Experience in full comprehension of the Voice application suite
- Knowledge/Experience with New technologies: SDN based voice solutions
- installation experience in a high availability
- Should have worked on Voice monitoring tools and Experience with virtual server environments
- Attention to detail and discipline to utilize best practices for network systems and security
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers that are technical or non-technical
- Willing to work after hours/weekends to perform planned and emergency network maintenance
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
- A passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving operational excellence
- Scripting for automation will be added advantage
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration
- NICE Certified Implementation Specialist
