Your primary role as a Specialist in this Luxury Automotive brand will focus on PR & Events functions. The Regional PR role involves managing the brand’s external communications across the region, collaborating with local teams to strengthen brand reputation, drive business priorities, and mitigate external risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a Brand PR Strategy that includes product launches, lifestyle events, regional messaging, and in-market PR events.
- Implement results-oriented regional PR programs and campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to garner positive public and media opinions, aligning with project requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders to manage participation in global media events.
- Collate and analyze post-PR activity reports and monitor media coverage.
- Develop media relationships, pitch stories, and coordinate interviews.
- Create content and messaging for spokespersons and media, including pitches, briefing documents, and Q&A.
- Write, edit, and review all media content and press releases for public distribution.
- Secondary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with HQ and other functions on related communications.
- Support the development, implementation, oversight, and management of internal communications efforts.
- Represent the region’s voice in global meetings.
- Handle and perform administrative tasks.
- Plan and execute customer and leadership events (ad hoc).
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry, marketing agencies, public relations, or communications. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills in English (compulsory); other Asian languages and Japanese are a bonus.
- Ability to translate complex topics into newsworthy stories for media pick-up.
- Passionate about automotive products and/or knowledgeable about technical language.
- Effective project management skills across multiple stakeholders (headquarters, distributors, and vendors); takes initiative and ownership to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
- Event management skills to coordinate media tours and press conferences.
- Detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and capable of analyzing data for management reporting.
- Self-starter and resourceful in obtaining information from various internal and external sources.
- Able to articulate issues and propose relevant solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid Class 3 driver’s license is an added advantage.
- Experience in maintaining and updating budgets for assigned projects.
- Hybrid work arrangements available with some travel expected.
