Overview of Position: The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading of technical and organization measures that fulfil the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure needs’ of ATT Group of Companies and its clients. Besides providing troubleshooting solutions, integration, and implementation of the company's infrastructure products, he will also guide and train end users and team members to ensure effective knowledge transfer and competency in the solutions.
- Participate in technical discussion and provide technical assistance in preparation for all support to tender requirements.
- Attend project related activities that include deployment, implementation of infrastructure products and testing that comply with client’s technical requirements.
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the technical and organization measures for client’s ICT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot ICT infrastructure problems, integrate and implement infrastructure products such as network, storage and compute devices.
- Provide support in conducting site survey and root cause analysis identified by team members together with the Superior.
- Be proactive in problem solving, following up and closing all incidents, issues and requests timely.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer session.
- Handle customer’s inquiry, request and complaints in a professional manner and efficient way.
- Responsible for technical documentation and in proper filing in accordance to ISO requirements.
- Follow project implementation lifecycle and write documentation for project requirements
- Lead and monitor technician for project installation site work.
- Train and guide team members on the maintenance process, procedures, and systems
- Maintain records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO standards
- Be on-call and stand-by for maintenance and other operational support when necessary.
- To follow all company business operation and SOP at all times.
- Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve
- Company’s KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or
- unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping at all times.
- Attend to any operational and maintenance duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Work Experience Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 year’s experience in :
- Preferred experience with LTA projects and/or any major Infrastructure projects
- The candidate should have skills and knowledge in Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Cisco switches, Huawei firewalls, and SonicWALL firewalls.
- Dealing with Compute, Network, Storage.
- Setup, install, configure, troubleshooting (diagnostics), drafting operation SOP, involvement in Disaster Recovery Plan (“DRP”)
- ICT integration implementation (such as but not limited to Account management, Network Monitoring, performance Monitoring)
- Experience in the implementation leveraging Cloud environment (Private, Public, Hybrid) will gain you competitive edge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of internal and external users.
