Job Summary
Develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures which ensure the accounting, management and financial reporting integrity of US trading desk’s P&L and Balance Sheet.
Develop and execute appropriate procedures for Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation
Strategy
• Manage various product categories and regions. (Asset classes: Rates, FX, Credit Commodities, etc.) and support Trading desk in respect to P&L, balance sheet, valuation and funding issues.
• Undertake Adhoc business reviews including returns analysis across Balance Sheet, RWA and Leverage.
• Support and enable transformation working closely with the business to address booking model constraints and challenges which impact RWA, Balance sheet and leverage etc.
• Support the development of new product launches, remediation and deep dives across P&L, Risk, Balance sheet and Traders / Sales.
• Support the wider Finance team including Product Control, valuation control and Business Finance in respect to ad hoc queries and deep dives.
• Support Tax Transfer pricing methodology and supporting analysis.
• Support regulatory programs as and when necessary.
• Identify / manage risk and control breakdowns.
• Develop & maintain effective and standard processes. Maintain KOP's/DI's.
• Support change project initiatives and conduct User Acceptance Testing for enhancements to current systems or migration to new system

· Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks. · Monitoring people performance, providing timely feedback, performing annual and mid-year appraisals. (including people development, pipeline/skills monitoring, and training programs,)
· Manage leaves and attrition, create enough backup / cross trainings.
· Minimize dependency on key people by cross training and succession planning.
· Manage career and growth expectations of people.
· Leverage upon knowledge and skills sitting with other teams at same location or similar team sitting across the globe.
· Enable movement of people as and when required to manage resourcing across Product Control.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Key stakeholders
• Regular face off with Traders, Product Control Management, Regional finance team and various internal stakeholders within GFS.
• Act as a point of reference for team members and internal clients.
• Manage relationship with internal stakeholders, take regular feedback, anticipate and understand issues and escalate appropriately for timely resolution
• Manage strong relationship with support teams (IT, Operations and Risk) and bring synergies by interacting and integrating with cross functional teams

Our Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced person in financial services and exposure to Trading desks, Product Control Management, Regional finance team and various internal stakeholders
We want to hear from you if you have:
· 8+ years of experience in a financial service industry with education background of MBA, CA, CFA, ACCA
· Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams
· Control mindset and ability to identify and mitigate and control gaps
· 2+ years of People Management experience.
· Solid understanding of financial market products (e.g derivatives, FX, Financial market securities, Commodities etc) and their respect P&L, Balance Sheet and regulatory treatment
· Excellent Interpersonal skills. Should be able to communicate at all levels.
· Strong planning, negotiation and analytical skills.
· Ability to develop, implement and maintain effective and standard operational processes.
· Experience across capital management, balance sheet management, financial modelling, scenario modelling, MS office package
