Now, they are looking for a Finance Controller to be part of their team.
Job Description
- Manage the Group's cash flow, including optimization, forecasting, expense and expenditure management, budgeting, consolidation, P&L forecasting, debt management, and collection.
- Monitor the Group's optimal level of funds with effective oversight of bank balances for procurement activities, daily operations, and unexpected expenses.
- Perform monthly group consolidation and results analysis.
- Develop risk management and control strategies, considering all aspects of the Group's business.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, including risk minimization plans, opportunity forecasting, and cost enhancement measures.
- Oversee group financial reports and manage all audit-related matters.
- Provide ROI analysis for the Group's overseas investments and offer advice for investment and expansion decisions.
- Oversee GST and income tax matters, including tax planning.
- Prepare financial performance metrics (e.g., Gross Profit, Cost, and Revenue) based on the group's P&L, with ongoing monitoring.
- Manage the finance team, including performance management, team bonding, and ensuring task completion by deadlines.
- Assign work effectively across the region to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
- Lead financial projects, ensuring effective communication between procurement, production, hedging, and finance teams to optimize production output and cash flow.
- Spearhead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the ERP System and related MIS projects.
- Manage and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations while safeguarding the group's assets.
- Provide recommendations on maximizing returns on excess funds (e.g., managing cash deposit rates, loan rates, FX conversion).
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights, constructive feedback, and recommendations to management for improving profitability, liquidity, and overall financial health.
- Build and maintain relationships with bankers and liquidity providers.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Financial Controller in the manufacturing or commodities industry.
- Proficient in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Solid knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing financial audits and working with external auditors.
- Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems, with the ability to leverage technology to drive process improvements and ERP system implementation/transformation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, generate meaningful insights, and provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
