Job Description:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor and inspect construction materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Act as a liaison between project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and address any technical or logistical issues that arise during construction, offering practical solutions to minimize delays or disruptions.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of project progress, including daily reports, work logs, and any changes to plans or specifications.
- Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, creating a secure work environment for all personnel on-site.
- Monitor project expenditures to ensure they align with the approved budget and make recommendations for cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Regularly update project managers and stakeholders on the status of construction projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and milestones.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals collectively.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools, including project management and design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
