Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Contribution
1. Optimizing and modifying MAG AMR hardware for design, ease of maintenance, assembly and diagnosis
2. Architect the MAG AMR hardware and software
3. Design PCBs, write corresponding firmware and conduct prototyping
4. Writing Linux device drivers for industrial communication protocols
5. Keep the product up to date with international safety standards
- Team Management
1. Manage the team for the MAG AMR hardware components including the electrical, embedded and hardware teams
2. Conduct sprint sessions for the team
3. Delegate tasks to achieve quarterly goals
4. Identify product risks, mitigate where possible and form contingency plans otherwise
5. Troubleshoot issues on manufacturing and at customer site and submit feasible solutions to fix the same
6. Submit monthly & quarterly reports on behalf of the team
- Collaborate with Manufacturing teams
1. Set the quality guidelines for manufacturing
2. Define the assembly processes
3. Collaborate with supply chain team to identify any gaps in production/procurement and address the same
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering , computer engineering, or a comparable degree.
· Excellent Embedded C and C++ programming skills.
· Skilled in PCB design.
· Skilled in product prototyping
· Excellent problem solving ability.
· Excellent communication skills to coordinate and manage the team.
· Demonstrable experience working with real world robots, preferably experience building a robot.
· System level knowledge of robots from end-to-end of mechanical, electrical to software.
· Ability to think and work independently.
