Responsibilities
1. Essential Functions
- Financial accounting functions including fixed assets, payments and general ledger
- Management accounting function, including preparation of monthly cost allocation, management reports and analysis
- Liaise with auditors for year-end audit and preparation of audited financial statements
- Preparation of quarterly GST return
- Liaise with tax agent for corporate tax filing
- Lead the annual budgeting and annual costing review
2. Secondary responsibilities and duties
- Cover duties of Business Office, when necessary
3. Supervisory Responsibility
- Supervise Finance / Business Office Executives
4. Participate in audit and other Finance initiatives and drive projects when necessary
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting / ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience (Full set and fixed assets experience required)
- With hospital or nursing home setting experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office application (Strong in MS Excel)
- Develop budget, operating plans, and forecasts together with stakeholders
- Develop and establish financial policies & procedures
- Drive accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
- Excellent Relationship Management, planning & organisational skills
