Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Content to lead our content creation and publishing efforts across all platforms. This role will be instrumental in shaping the narrative of our brands by developing high-quality content that engages, informs, and inspires our audience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in content strategy, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the financial and insurance industries. Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the goals of The Digital Banker, Global Private Banker, and Global Insurer.
Editorial Leadership: Oversee the editorial direction of all content, including articles, blog posts, magazines, newsletters, and social media communications.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators, writers, editors, and social media professionals to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.
Content Creation: Collaborate with internal experts, industry leaders, and contributors to produce engaging and informative content that resonates with our audience.
Social Media Management: Develop and oversee a robust social media strategy to promote content, increase engagement, and grow our online presence across all platforms.
Publishing Oversight: Manage the publishing schedule and ensure that all content is published on time and meets our brand standards.
Audience Engagement: Create initiatives to engage our audience through various content formats, including interactive pieces, videos, and webinars.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to assess effectiveness and inform future content strategies.
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure our content remains relevant, insightful, and ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years of content creation and management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the financial or insurance sectors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse content team, fostering a creative and productive environment.
Editorial Excellence: Strong editorial judgment and a passion for high-quality content; experienced in managing the entire content lifecycle from ideation to publication.
Digital Savvy: Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, SEO, social media management, and analytics tools.
Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and engagingly.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative content solutions that drive engagement and brand awareness.
