Our client is a growing financial instituition, looking to expand within the banking industry with a newly created Private Banking function. You will gain the exposure of establishing a foundation for the operations team, managing loan operations related duties and ensuring compliance accordance to internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the loan origination process, from application to disbursement, ensuring timely and accurate processing of loans.
- Review and verify loan applications, financial documents, and credit reports to assess loan eligibility and risk.
- Prepare and review loan documentation, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and security agreements.
- Ensure all loan documentation complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Conduct regular audits of loan files to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Utilize loan management systems and software to track loan progress and maintain accurate records.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in loan processing.
- Generate and maintain reports related to loan operations, including performance metrics and compliance reports.
- Ensure proper archiving and retrieval of loan documentation in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in loan operations, with a strong focus on private banking and loan documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred
- Proficiency in loan management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
