Mackay is currently seeking a fulltime Service Coordinator with experience in the maritime industry and proficient in Englishto work the evening shift and onsite in our Singapore depot. The work hours are Monday – Thursday from 13:00 to 22:00 and on Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00.
Sponsorship is NOT available; applicants must be legally authorized to work in Singapore.
Service Coordinator Job Summary:
The Service Coordinator must have strong customer service skills, technical skills, and organizational skills. The Service Coordinator is responsible quickly responding to customer inquiries, assessing clients’ needs, communicating job progress, resolving issues, and making sure the daily service requirements are met in a timely manner. The Service Coordinator will properly identify and pull the parts and equipment needed for the job and dispatch the technician who has the knowledge to fix it right the first time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with quotes and getting them to customers.
- Coordinates service and posts jobs on the service board
- Tracks the movement of vessels
- Calls Agents to check on vessel movements
- Sends completion reports to customers
- Interfaces with the Parts Department
- Enter jobs into the company database
Service Coordinator Qualifications:
· 3+ Years of Service Coordination in the Marine industry is required.
· Must be able to read, write, and speak in English fluently.
· Must be authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
· College or post-secondary education in electronics and/or business is preferred
· 3+ Years’ experience in dispatching and field service coordination.
