Business Development Executive

Raffles Place, Singapore

5 days’ work week

Full-time | Perm


Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out and engage prospective customers through cold calling, networking, and client meetings to generate new business.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services and provide timely quotations to potential clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to management on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Be willing to travel when required to meet with clients and attend industry events.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or higher in Business, Logistics, or related fields.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Independent with excellent time management skills.
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate with others.
  • Self-driven and passionate about sales.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to travel when required.
