Senior Director, Head of Key Accounts

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director, Head of Key Accounts to lead and manage our key account portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing account strategies, fostering strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role is crucial to ensuring our key accounts receive exceptional service and value from our offerings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for managing and growing key accounts. Identify opportunities for expansion and align account strategies with company goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Act as the main point of contact for high-profile accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account managers and directors. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth and profitability for key accounts by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and optimizing account performance.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Utilize this knowledge to inform strategies and provide actionable insights to clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Oversee contract negotiations and ensure agreements align with company policies and objectives. Resolve any contractual issues or disputes that arise.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for account management. Analyze performance data to ensure targets are met and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to key account management and service delivery.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on key account performance, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure transparent and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in key account management, sales, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven track record in managing large, strategic accounts and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a client-focused mindset. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
