About the role:
- Perform work pass application/renewal, confirmation assessment, re-employment/contract renewal, and timely updates of employees' records in HRIS
- Handle operational matters for off-boarding
- Acts as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
- Provide HR advisory service to employees and stakeholders in all operational related matters and to ensure smooth resolution on HR queries
- Handle and follow up on employee-employer related matters independently
- Handle all government statutory surveys and corppass administrations
- Recommend and implement improvements for HR & Admin processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency
- Facilitate HR functions which include Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, Welfare, etc.
- To take on HR improvement projects and other adhoc projects as assigned
About you:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in handling full spectrum of HR & administrative roles, preferably in marine industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Workday system is an advantage
- Familiar with Singapore Labour Law & Employment Act
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with employees
- Responsible to follow through work matters consistently
- Self-starter, resourceful and possess a curious nature to dig further to learn new knowledge
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks with sense of urgency
- Mature, presentable, stable, and professional with good judgment between employer and employee perspectives.
