Job Responsibilities
- Perform verification, calibration and preventive maintenance (PMs) with in-house Metrology SOPs
- Maintain in-house calibration and qualification tools to ensure that they are timely calibrated and maintained
- Handle and Coordinate with External Third-Party (3P) vendors to support various services (calibration, PM, Qualification, repairs)
- Ensure that the External 3P vendors are qualified under Customer off-site and on-site requirements prior their service job execution
- Respond as per on-site service request guidelines to ad-hoc Service requests triggered by Laboratory End Users within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Identify and recommend customers appropriate inventory type and quantity of inventory supply of critical equipment service parts, verification/calibration/PM kits and service tools replacement to minimize instrument downtime and budget planning.
- Ensure accurate documentation creation, management, updates and tracking of services rendered in this program, using in-house Asst Management system in the following areas:
- Training
- Service Reports of all equipment and calibration tools for all services performed
- Asset information
- Vendor Qualification Review
- Effective communication and coordination with customers, vendors, multi-functional team in the company to ensure services can be carried out effectively
Qualifications and Criteria
- Min Diploma in science or Engineering, preferably in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Min 1 year of engineering exp
