Astek has an opening of a BA cum Delivery Lead role for one of our project in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Support: Handle middle-to-back office tasks for private market processes such as deal execution, transaction booking (capital calls, cash distributions, invoices), and valuations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discovery sessions and workshops to gather business requirements and insights, translating these into actionable user stories.
- IT Solutions: Analyze and conceptualize IT solutions, validate them with engineering and architecture teams.
- Data Analysis: Identify patterns and develop models to support business processes.
- Presentation: Explain IT solutions to business and IT stakeholders, showing how they address needs and challenges.
- Project Support: Assist the project team, revise requirements with business SMEs, and accept alternative solutions as necessary.
- Testing: Define test strategies, execute test cases, and provide clarifications during testing phases.
- Training: Prepare training plans and user manuals, conduct training sessions, and support system adoption.
- Collaboration: Work with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, the extended Technology team, and industry partners.
- Agile Practices: Lead Agile practices and coordinate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, risks, and issues, and report to senior management and stakeholders.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely project delivery and take corrective actions to address any deviations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8-10 years in technology business analysis or software development, focusing on investment/banking applications.
- Project Oversight: Experience managing complex IT projects, including system integrations and data migrations.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; adept at managing teams and senior stakeholders.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Teamwork: Effective team player with a growth mindset and capability to work independently.
- Documentation: Proven expertise in creating BRDs, FSDs, use cases (in Gherkin format), visual modeling, and documenting business processes.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in ETL processes, SQL, and APIs.
- Data Skills: Experience with data analysis, pattern recognition, and model development.
- Methodology: Experience with Product Management and Agile Methodology, with a focus on delivery.
- Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of the investment business domain.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with financial applications, workflows, UI/UX, database design, and software engineering best practices.
