Human Resource Manager (Food Retail Company)

We are currently looking for an energetic and hands-on Human Resource Manager to join us and look after our human resources functions. This candidate will play a key role in recruitment, staff retention, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a positive work culture.

Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage all Human Resource (HR) related functions and activities.

· Propose strategies and initiatives to grow and improve the company’s HR programmes and activities.

· Lead and implement (with other departmental managers) improved organisational policies and activities.

· Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.

· Ensure accurate and on-time payroll processing.

· Oversee performance management systems to improve employee engagement, performance review and productivity.

· Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance situations.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant government employment regulations.

· Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, keeping them up-to-date with best practices and legal requirements.

· Work with departmental managers to identify training needs and facilitate employee development programs.

· Maintain HR records and produce reports as required by management.

· Assist in all other ad-hoc HR related duties.

Requirements

· Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business administration or equivalent.

· At least 5 years working experience in Human Resource roles.

· Strong and up to date knowledge of government employment regulations.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, down to earth disposition.

· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive mindset. Experience as a single role contributor would be advantageous.

· Proficient in using Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and experience in various payroll systems such as Info-Tech.

Working Location: Ubi Crecent (Near Paya Lebar/Macpherson)
